What is Project Meet Me Halfway?
Project Meet Me Halfway is country music artist Jimmy Wayne's efforts to raise awareness about homeless teens and teens aging out of the foster care system. On January 1, 2010 he left Monroe Harding, a group home, in Nashville, TN to walk all the way to Homebase Youth Services in Phoenix, AZ- a journey over 1700 miles long.
Having been a homeless teen himself, until he was taken in by an elderly couple, the Costner's, this is an issue that is close to Jimmy's heart. Please do your part to support Jimmy Wayne and help these teens.
